"I've been blessed with Carol Sessler taking care of my dogs for the past 24 years. My first Weimaraner Fog, the Bad Grey Dog, was a handful, at 90 lbs. He was very bold and difficult to manage, Carol handled him masterfully. Carol is unerringly reliable and responsive, even replying to emails while on her vacation. The health and safety of our pets are her first concern. She has reminded me when my dogs need Musher's Secret to protect their paws from salt, always checks and refills their water, and often brings them treats. During extreme heat, she has soaked a bath towel and put it over Fog's back like a horse blanket to cool him. As they have aged and required medications, Carol has given them carefully and reliably, including pills and eyedrops. Carol is so sensitive to my dogs that she notices the improvement after they have had an acupuncture treatment. Carol has been an angel of mercy for us, when Fog was sick and refused to take his medication from me, Carol made an unscheduled visit and he accepted the medicine from her without complaint. On another occasion, when I was out of town, Fog became extremely ill, Carol recognized his condition as a medical emergency, she notified me, and took him to the emergency vet hospital, where he had to be admitted. She checked on him repeatedly until I could get home and followed up with us afterward. Fog would not have survived without Carol's vigilance and loving care. Neighbors and doormen made a point of telling me how careful and loving she was with Fog during this illness. Having Carol in my life has given me great peace of mind. She is an exceptional person."

"Carol has been my trusted pet sitter for many years. She has cared for my birds, geckos, Guinea pigs, rats, mice, hamsters, gerbils, fish, and a rescued (from a cat) meadow vole. She treated them all as if they were her own. And she nursed and medicated my Guinea pig, Valentino, when he took ill on the eve of my trip out of town. She formed a special bond with my late parakeet, Marley. She would play music and sing for him, and he would dance. Carol is very reliable. She will text you updates after every visit, along with photos of your beloved pet(s). I can’t recommend her highly enough."

"Carol Sessler was my original dog walker when I lived close to Central Park and had a yellow Labrador Retriever in 2001. After a few years, Carol moved from our neighborhood and we lost touch until we reconnected last fall after I moved to the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood where she has lived for some time. I couldn't have been more thrilled when she told me she was not only still walking dogs, but a professional groomer and could be available for overnight dog sitting if needed. "Hi Carol, I know I paid you and I know I thanked you but when Gus ran into your arms on the street the other day, I wanted to do the same. He has fought us tooth and nail leaving him at the groomers and refused to go right when we left the building because that was the direction of the shop. While it makes sense that he knows he needs and wants to be groomed, it was not obvious before you came into our lives. I try to stay away while you groom him because we both know he's never going to love it. I hear you talking to him, soothing him, helping him get through it and he clearly loves you for it.
